At Howick Kindergarten we provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where we have a strong partnership with parents/whaanau to support their child’s learning.
We also aim to create a sense of fun and introduce purposeful activities in which children readily engage.
We feed into a wide range of local schools. Our main three are Owairoa, Mellows Bay and Cockle Bay Schools.
We provide a wide range of opportunities for exploring, communicating, contributing, learning and the development of skills. We believe through play children develop thinking processes for making sense of the natural, social, physical and material worlds. This will support in developing as life long learners.
