Rachael’s Perfect Play dough Recipe!

Finding the perfect play dough recipe can be a challenge!

Play dough can become too sticky, oily, dry or too salty. Rachael Harris a wonderful preschool teacher has kindly shared with me to share with you her very own secret play dough recipe! I can vouch for Rachael’s play dough, it is light, soft and fun to use.

So if you are having trouble finding a winning play dough recipe give this one a go:

6c Flour

1 1/2c Salt

3 heaped dessert spoons cream of tartar

6c Boiling water

3 Tablespoons oil

Add colour and knead!

Rachael says that the trick is in the kneading while it’s hot! Store in an ice cream container or something that is air tight.

You will notice that there isn’t alot of oil in this recipe which differs from most. If you think you have a the perfect recipe you swear by we would love you to share!
